Butters stands 14.1 hands 7yo Tennessee walking horse mare that’s very very gentle and in your pocket type mare. She’s great for timid or beginner riders. I’ve used her to give lesson with over the weekend when 2 neighbor kids decided to come down and meet us and asked to learn to ride. I put them on her and they done great! 12yo girls. The worse thing Butters will do of a true beginner rides her (just like the ones I put on her) is, she may just wonder off on her own and the rider will have to correct her by pulling the reins the correct way. I like it that she does that because it teaches the kids that they have to be in control or she’ll just go where they don’t want. Very forgiving little mare. Anyone with experience at all can take her absolutely anywhere you point. She’s loves to walk walk walk!! But will go if asked. Definitely a more who’s than go mare.
