Lightning McQueen
9 yr old SMHA gelding
He’s a solid trail horse. Goes where you point him. He’s got a slow smooth little gait, no speed. Leans to the pacey side. And like I said he tenses up when you tack him up & go to mount him. If someone holds him I haven’t had a problem. If not he wants to jump away. He has some go & motor to him but controls well on the ground & In the saddle. After you’ve ridden for a while he starts standing still to mount. He’s easy to catch. He’s a little over 15 hh. Loads & backs off of the trailer good. Good with handling his feet. Etc Overall I think he’s a pretty nice horse, he has a couple flaws like mentioned that I think could pretty easily be fixed. He’s healthy, pretty, and has a lot of trail and camping experience. He does great on a tie line. Traffic safe and crosses anything on the trail that you need to!
